Billing IncrementsMost people compare how they will be charged for their calls. One important factor is the billing increment. The question is: "How much am I charged per minute and for what fraction of a minute am I charged if I don't talk the full minute?" Most people like to see billing increments of 6 seconds. Make a call for 2 minutes and 15 seconds and you are charged for 2 minutes and 18 seconds. That's 2 minutes and three 6 second increments. With this service, your billing increment is not a fraction of a minute, but 20 minutes. Make a call for 2 minutes and 15 seconds and you are charged for 20 minutes. That's just not right. |
But, what if you talk longer than 20 minutes?
It's only 7.5¢ for each extra minute. That's a billing increment of a full minute.
But wait.
There are dozens of phone services that charge less than 5¢ per minute for calls of any length--many with 6 second billing increments.
..... there are three ways you can do better than the 10-10 calling rates--for calls of any length.
As you can see, if you're using any of the 10-10 like services that have cute TV commercials, you're paying too much.
