Web Developer Job

Web Developer Job:  Are you working at or do you want a web developer job?

If you are in the average web developer job, you are probably looking for a more rewarding experience. New challenges in the real world of web development.

A real world web developer job provides financial incentives to learn and develop your skills.

Now, I never had a professional web developer job, but I have put together some web sites that are doing pretty good. I'm a retired computer analyst who learned web developer and marketing skills.

It took about a week to develop one site that provides me a $600 per year raise, each and every month. (If you already get a $7,200 raise every year for having developed a single website you're doing pretty good.)

That's a nice supplement to my retirement check. But, I'm not stopping there.

Ah, the Corporate Life!

Everyone wants something more out of life.

Me, I wanted financial freedom. I wanted to be able to increase my income beyond what was provided for in the corporate world.

Yes, I used to live 8 hours a day in a cubical. Luckily, for most of my 26 years in the computer industry I had a window seat. But, not always. Sometimes I was shuffled away from the windows and had to stand up and walk around to see the outside.

Eventually our company merged with another company and thousands of people were offered early retirement. Decisions, decisions. The retirement package was excellent--more people took it than the company expected. And I also accepted.

Happily, I had been learning to develop simple web sites and had dabbled in selling other people's products on the web. I was earning hundreds of dollars a month and believed I could earn much more by devoting additional time to my hobby.

(And I have learned to create better sites. Sites that both sell better and rank higher in the search engine results. And, frankly, it's not that hard to create a "winning" site.)

I wasn't ready to retire so I could go to the corner store a get a bottle of "hooch" in a brown paper bag and sit in front of the TV all day drinking and watching soap operas.

So, I decided to leave the corporate world to pursue my hobby. I no longer need to watch the clock to see when to get up.

I don't need to look at the clock to see when I can go to the cafeteria to eat lunch. And, I take my time eating lunch--except when I go back to the office to visit my friends. Ah, the corporate life!

Yes, I still wear my watch, but I don't have to stop work at 5 PM and battle traffic for half an hour or more to get home.

And I still go to the office three times a week. But, all I do now is to go to the corporate gym and get some good exercise and take a leisurely steam bath.

Ah, the corporate life!

I've achieved my goal of early retirement. I'm earning much more than I need to make that decision a success.

Now I'm ready to buy a new car (Got it!). Next is a home on the water in Mexico with a dock for a sailboat--no, it's really not that expensive. The weather is beautiful all year long. I'm getting ready to take courses in Spanish. Mexico here I come!

But, enough about me. Let me explain how you can have that more rewarding experience

Why do You Want Extra Money?

You may not look forward to early retirement. But, you still have goals, dreams of what you want for your future. What are they?

  • Pay off your mortgage
  • Afford college for your children
  • Give more to your church or favorite charity
  • Get a new car
  • Move to a better neighborhood
  • Take a nice vacation
  • Pay some long overdue bills
  • Reduce your high credit card balances
  • Buy a motor home and travel across the country
  • Buy an airplane
  • Stay home with the children
  • Get out of the rat race of the competitive corporate culture
  • Avoid a boss that makes promises he never keeps
  • Develop a no risk business of your own
  • Whatever your dream is, you need to know that you can achieve it.

If you could use a little extra money each month and want to build an increasing income, then you need to read on.
